D asked me tonight what stories are in the Bible. I know he knows, so I started spurring him to answer his own question. He eventually came up with quite a list, including:
Daniel and the Lions
Noah and the Ark
Jonah and the Big Fish
Adam and Eve
Baby Jesus Born in the Barn
Samson the Strong Man
David and the Giant

and Ricky Ticky Tavy
Perhaps we have more work to do.
