Seven

I don't know how it happened, but 7 years passed in the blink of an eye.  My big boy turned 7 this week. 

At school he has a birthday party with food, drinks, and presents. At home we went swimming (of course) but the pool water was 94 degrees, not even refreshing, it felt more like a warm bath. But with a December birthday, it's not usual for us to swim on your birthday so we had to fit it in. We ordered his favorite Brazilian food, pastels, a fried pastry crust filled with various fillings (he chose mozzarella & oregano), and sang Happy Birthday (in English, his choice) to 7 cupcakes with LEGO shaped candles (thanks Grandma!), then opened various presents LEGO building sets, LEGO game, LEGO books and such wrapped in LEGO wrapping paper. Do you see a theme? DaddyHealy thought we really should send pictures of this kid's party to LEGO. 


What a crew

Bless his heart, he still asks for sugar cookies in leiu of a cake.

Every LEGO set he received less than 48 hours ago are already built.
