Land of the Free

Happy 4th! I guess it may not seem exactly like the “Land of the Free” right now with restrictions, quarantines, mask mandates and so forth.  Everything here is cancelled.  No parades, no fireworks.  I imagine it’s about the same where you are, and likely pretty much all over the USA.  But we were undeterred.  We are not letting our American pride be extinguished by coronavirus!  We had our own parade, complete with candy!  Granted, it was a very short parade, but we dressed up, decorated, and we travelled the route twice and now it feels like a holiday. 😁

They had so much fun.  And big brother was a good sport, though I think he was probably just in it for the candy.  😉🍭
