For the Birds...

People are always surprised when they hear about the turkey farm.....especially when I explain that "no, November is not a particularly busy month on this turkey farm." And there is the "they're white?!" amazement to deal with as well. I guess the rest of the country didn't grow up on a turkey farm. Who knew?!
That didn't stop my kids from jumping right in...

Maybe no one told them that if you show too much interest, this is where you'll be spending several afternoons every week......the smell is not sweet, and it doesn't pay very well. Well....then again, maybe it does.
