Sweet-or-Treat

They were adorable, and I'm afraid because of it we ended up with twice as much candy as the average trick-or-treater! In Grammy's town, they have a neat little set up where you trick or treat along main street and the businesses hand out treats in front of their stores. It's great fun, not a lot of walking and a full bag comes along pretty quick. Just right for the toddler to preschool group.

It was cold and windy though, and we added lots of layers to our costumes, which was cute in it's own way. We forged on till our fingers were icicles and at one point M just sat down on the sidewalk, as if to say, "this is so not worth it."

Back home we trudged the few hundred feet and few houses that make up our road. Two babysitters and a few neighbors handed out treats galore (apparently we are the first trick-or-treaters on the lane in 12+ years! Good thing we called ahead!) Mostly for M's sake, we chose a different mode of transportation, which D wanted to be in charge of driving. Look at this loot! Seriously, a parent, and a dentist's worst nightmare! It will take till Easter to get through it all. That, or DaddyHealy and I are going to both put on a few pounds! Either way, it's the scariest thing I've encountered this Halloween! Do you think the food bank would take it.....????
