Perks

As it turns out, there are some perks to being laid up in a cast:

1. Sometimes you get to eat your meals in the big cushy chair in the living room.

2. At church Mom doesn't make you sit, stand and kneel with everyone else.

3. MAIL! MAIL! MAIL! Packages even!

4. One-on-one time with Mom and/or Dad

5. One-on-one time with Grammy!
6. All around, lots of attention

7. You have plenty of time to finish the library summer reading program.

8. Visitors, some bearing treats

9. You get cool X-rays of your own bones!

10. Little sister has to do your chores. :)

11. Doctors appointments (yuck) followed by ice cream shoppes (yum!)
