We have a book. Grandma's are for Giving Tickles. The time we spent in the States just really brought that book to life for the girls. It's not that M didn't remember her grandmas. She certainly did, but she didn't have a bank of memories of spending time with them the way D did. I wish I could find the book just now to quote it exactly, but generally it lists the special things grandmas do, like giving tickles, letting you stay up late, making the best hot chocolate, thinking you're the star of every show, answer all your questions, reading extra bedtime stories.... The week was filled with it. All of it. These pictures are precious to me. We could make our own book.
