It was probably too cold, but just to say we did it, we went swimming in August, just a few days after we got back from the States. Remember, we're on opposite seasons. So think of it as swimming in February. We had a hot day, with still chilly water. We lasted longer than I expected, but eventually the water froze us out. But we did it. There were only 2 months in the year we did not swim. Yay!

| The kids have been taking swimming lessons since we got back. I use the term "lessons" loosely. But it has been keeping them exposed to the water, and perhaps challenging them to try some things they wouldn't try at home. |

| Perhaps the smartest of the bunch, M knows that even when the sun is not shining, the tile around the pool is very warm due to sun exposure earlier in the day. She is laying here to warm up. |
