I have been informed that the yield was "good." There've been better years and plenty worse, so for those of you who keep asking, there's your answer!
So my "official" harvest job was lunch lady (and supper lady for that matter). I brought lots and lots of picnics out to the field. I don't know how a person working in 100 degree heat all day has any appetite at all, but the guys seemed to put away whatever I brought.
