Our calendar is looking pretty empty lately, but our social schedule is quite full. There’s Taco Tuesday, Thursday Night Dance Party, Movie Nights on Friday. My personal favorite is Chore Saturday, celebrated by family watching Wipeout reruns on Saturday night. We celebrate mass from the Cathedral (on TV) every Sunday, and every morning we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet as a family. Cooking lessons, laundry lessons, yard work and baking...hide and seek, charades, reading, imaginary play....neighborhood walks, Bible lessons, schoolwork, learning to ride bikes on 2 wheels....Online piano lessons, Boy Scout Merit Badge Monday online, letter writing and picture coloring...online drawing lessons, flute practice, puzzles and board games.
No wonder my long list of to-dos is getting longer, not shorter. Our quarantine time is anything but slow and quiet.
