One thing I have really noticed during this whole “distance learning” phase is how much our teachers really love and care about the kids. It’s so wonderful to know that the people who you entrust with these precious little ones feel so empty without them in the classroom.
Our sweet preschool is a place all 5 of our kiddos has been allowed the freedom to play, grow, and be their own dynamic selves. HF is our last. And without even knowing it, we’ve had our very last drop off, our last pick up, our last preschool program and field trip. I was not expecting our relationship with this place, and these teachers, to end so abruptly.
But tender and caring as ever, our team of sweet preschool teachers staged a “socially distant” drive by parade. They mapped a route of at drive past the house of every kid in the preschool and gave each parent an ETA. When they drove by they were honking and waving through open car windows, blowing kisses and dropped a special gift (book and treat) for the preschooler and siblings. They are so sweet. I am so grateful.
